About Hanna MiMe

Hanna Mi is borne from the love of romance.  I founded this business from the passion and the specialness that brings two individuals together.  I am a firm believer in true love and that there is someone for everyone.

Hana Mi is a Japanese festival that is celebrated from mid January until the mid of May.  It is a seasonal festival that mainly celebrates the flowering of cherry blossom.  The cherry blossom (sakura) is Japan's unofficial national flower. It has been celebrated for many centuries and Japanese people would offer sake and feast under these magnificent trees.  Hanami holds a very prominent position in Japanese culture, and can be seen in paintings and pottery and clothing.  They also would write poetry to the blossom, which were seen as a metaphor for life itself, luminous and beautiful yet fleeting.

Here the flowering of blossom is as much a herald of spring as the daffodil.  It is a blast of beauty after a murky and dark winter.  It is a symbol of new life and new beginnings.  So are weddings!!

I have always seen the symbolism between hanami and weddings, of the delicate beauty of the blossom,  and the timeless and classic look of the bride.

I myself have years of experience organizing parties, sailing events and of course weddings!  I am one of those individuals that believes in covering every base and leaving no stone left unturned.  I believe in being prepared and making the client so relaxed that they have only one task to do, and that is to enjoy their day.
